Bitefleet Return Policy.
Introduction.
At Bitefleet ltd. we are dedicated to offer seamless shopping experience and profound after sales services to our customers to manage their daily household purchase hustles with ease. Nevertheless, a customer may be unsatisfied with the standard of a product and may want a refund. The following should act as a guideline on behalf of our sellers that validates / invalidates the return/refund of a product.
1. Return grace period.
After a successful purchase and delivery, a customer should request return of a product strictly within 7days if need arises. Past this period, we assume the customer is contented with the product and no return/refund shall be processed whatsoever. Returns/refunds are subject to terms and conditions set in our return policies.
2. Products a without return provision
Due to health and hygiene concerns, the products in the following categories cannot be returned/refunded after purchase unless deemed substandard/fake, expired or damaged during delivery. All categories with consumables, Pharmaceuticals, Inner wears, Beauty and cosmetics, Alcohol, Confectioneries, Beverages or any other category as may be deemed unfit for return by Bitefleet Ltd. Any return of products damaged after delivery is NULL AND VOID and shall NOT be accepted whatsoever. Proof beyond any benefit of doubt must be provided by the customer when lodging a return/refund. We do not accept returns of customized items e.g. portraits, embroidery, carvings, stamps that are made to a customer’s specifications, unless they are damaged during delivery, counterfeit or of different quality than ordered.
3. Return Product packaging
After a return request is accepted, it’s mandatory that the product should be in the same original package and condition as delivered by Bitefleet ltd. All tags, seals, labels and parts should be un-altered and the product in its original box e.g. an electric kettle should include the base, product manual, warranty and the product box. Items with warranty cover can be returned when faulty and the fault should be within the manufacturer’s terms and conditions and within the warranty period. (INCLUDE ORIGINAL WARRANTY CARD in the return package as proof of a valid warrant). Never include any other item in the returned product other than what was delivered by Bitefleet as we shall not accept any liability caused by its loss whatsoever. Personal data, accounts and other sensitive information should be deleted from the products before returning. Bitefleet ltd. will not be liable to any damage caused by accidental exposure of such data to third parties whatsoever. The customer is liable to any return made until it reaches us hence it’s your sole responsibility to package the return appropriately to avoid damage.
4. Refunds.
Upon acceptance of your return or an item was not delivered, we shall refund the cost of the purchased item within the duration as set in the return period page. Delivery cost shall only be refunded if it’s a fault emanating from Bitefleet Ltd., seller or the items are damaged during delivery. No delivery fee shall be refunded due to customer's change of mind and a subsequent delivery fee will be charged on the new product accordingly.
5. Rejected returns
Once your returns reach our Return verification channel, a thorough scrutiny is performed to verify/ validate your return is within the return policy guidelines. If it’s not, no refund will be processed and you will be notified via an email the reason and where the pick-up point will be twice. Failure to collect within a 30day period, Bitefleet Ltd. will forfeit the product and dispose of the product e.g. through Charity, donation or destruction in any way deemed appropriate and will not be liable for the loss whatsoever.
6. Change of mind
Returns made due to change of mind are only valid if deemed clean, unworn, unused and the seals and tags intact and in their original packaging as delivered by Bitefleet ltd. i.e. section 3. They should not lie in the 'products without a return provision' i.e. section 2. Return due to change of mind cannot be initiated once the grace period is over i.e. section 1.
7. Exchange of products.
We don't offer exchange of products. For products like shoe size not fitting as expected/wrong color, follow the return process guideline in case you need a different one. Make a new order once your return has been approved.
8. Return procedure.
Bitefleet Ltd. offers free return via nearest drop-off station near you. Ensure you submit your return within 2days from the time your return process is initiated.
